in the spotlight :: lisa, a blog reader and her friend

Another Gratitude Journal participant is Lisa. I love the way she took an idea and made it her own. She's using a 4x6 photo album with journaling on one side and adding a photo to the other side, focusing on areas of her life and people she is grateful for. Love it.

Here's a link to her first post, where she's pre-designed her pages...

...and here's a follow-up post sharing some finished gratitudes and a photo of a finished page:

Meet Lisa {crushing on her fab jewelry}:

Hi my name is Lisa. I am a working momma to 2 beautiful girls and a wife to one amazing man! I love to scrapbook, craft, organize, clean and bake! I began scrapbooking in college and I have loved it since! When I saw Monika’s Gratitude album I just knew that I had to make one for myself, it is nice to have a reminder of all the things you are grateful for and to remember what really matter in life. My family is of the most importance and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I love blogging and all the friends you meet along the way!

My friend Angela saw my post of starting a gratitude album and she decided to make one for herself and THEN  also the ladies at her church she visit teaches?!!? Isn’t that awesome?

Here is what she had to say about me and the idea of a Gratitude Journal on her own blog. And I'll share a photo, too.

You'll notice that Angela chose a 6x6 format for her journal and also pre-designed her pages so that she can add photos or journaling at a later date. I love that time-saving feature...you don't get bogged down each time trying to decide on papers, embellishments. The focus is on the gratitude, not the process.
