what's new and a coupon code

...with you? Are you crafting? Are you playing in the dirt {aka working in the flower beds}? Are you enjoying Spring Break with the kids?

I was lucky enough to have spent some time crafting AND playing in the dirt yesterday. The weather was perfect...72 degrees with a slight breeze. Such a delight when there's no humidity. I actually worked up a sweat trimming the Monkey Grass, transplanting a few hosta's and planting some phlox along our creek bank HOPING that it will spread nicely and choke out the weeds. Grrr.

I've also been working on some new items for the shop. I relisted this on-the-road mini album and this mini book, too, which I used to document our 2011 Date Nights in this post.

We were lucky to get to sneak in an extra one this month {thanks Nana!} on Saturday and we had the best time ever. I might have gotten a few new items to freshen up my wardrobe, which makes this girl very happy. As a SAHM, I tend to not want to spend too much on clothes that I wear around the house playing with Victoria and traipsing around outside. BUT, I do like to have a few nice things each season that can be worn for when I go to town. Yes, I know, that sounds so small town, but, hey, I do live in a small town. I just never, ever thought I would be a woman who says, put your nice shoes on girls, we're going to town! Ha, now that's funny. I don't care who you are.

There's this mixed paper | office supply | sticker label collection that was fun to put together. Imagine all the possibilities as you create mini albums, art journals, note cards and gift tags. Yep, it will be fun!

And I now have large glassine bags in addition to the small glassine bags. Once I had these in my hands, I kept coming up with new ways to use them. I encourage you to get a pack of each and you might be surprised at just how handy these little cuties are. Just think, you could even use the glassine envelopes to package some Easter Basket goodies.

Or even this...number the small envelopes, number them and make finding the Easter Baskets like a mini scavenger hunt!

I might have gotten a little carried away with these next items...I made some sweet notes that fit inside the small glassine envelopes. Each set has 4 note cards, 4 glassine envelopes and a few extra embellishments. Perfectly sized to write a short note, include a gift card, sneak into your husband's computer bag as he's headed out of town for a few days {this is my favorite way to use these} or tuck under a pillow for the little ones in your life.

And lastly, this mug is on its way to a lovely customer who also happened to feature me on her blog yesterday. She lives a LOOOOOONG way away, so it's kind of neat to think that there are crafty ladies out there {hi Vicki} drinking their morning cuppa joe or cuppa tea in the same cup I'm using each day.

Just in case I haven't told you lately, I'm really happy that you stop in each day for a visit. Thanks.
