Yeah. So there's that.
To think that you *might* be old enough to say those words out loud. Back in My Day.

THE LISTS
Day 21 | Back in My Day
That darling pink guest check, which totally reminds me of back in the day when waitresses used to take your order on one of these, comes in the embellishment kit with this journal - only 2 remain.

Day 22 | My Favorite Plants
Honestly, I could go on forever, these are just a few. Some are probably even weeds, but I still like them. To prep my page, I pulled out my watercolors and dabbed on some bright yellow in straight-ish dashed lines going up the page. It was a good way to brighten up the page, given the list prompt, and it matched the yellow polka-dotted bag from the previous day so well.

The mason jar full of hearts on the left side of the page comes in the embellishment kit, and then I added another mason jar die cut in kraft paper as a shadow behind it.

  1. I remember going to a Saturday matinee for a quarter. I even had enough money to buy a little bag of popcorn after I paid for the movie!

    1. Us, too! We were a military family and kids could see the movie and get a bag of popcorn for 25 cents, which was our allowance at the time. Such good memories. If we wanted buttered popcorn, it was an extra 5 cents!
