learn something new every day | the beginning

Here's my cover and the basket of goodies I gathered so that everything's in one place. Here's where I found the teal rose ribbon. The stamped girl image is from Jenni Bowlin.

I signed up for Shimelle's Learn Something New Every Day class last year. Yes, you read that correctly. I have heard so much about her many classes from my bloggy friends that I thought it was about time that I try one for myself. As a side note, I am woefully behind in completing each day's list, but I'm happy to share what I have completed thus far. I am using something from my stash. It's a mini book cover from EK Success and it has grey coils that I'll be adding after all my pages are complete.

So there you have Days 1 - 10 of my "other" list class. I did well to keep up through Day 10, so now have the prompts from days 11 through 30 to think about and create. I'll share those, too. Soon hopefully!

Have you learned something new today?

Edited to Add 9.8.17 |  This post was to go live on 10.23.2011 {to share the September 2011 class mini book} and never did. I've had it on stand-by thinking that once I finish the rest of the class I would just add the pages in here and publish all at once. I still haven't finished, but thought if I went ahead and published the pages I might shame myself into finishing. I really like this mini book and the pages and the lessons learned. Maybe this Summer it will get to move to the collection of FINISHED mini book projects!

Note to Self  |  Refrain from signing up for any more online classes...you don't stay committed.
