everday we think of you

everyday.
we think of you.

{Yes, we do Zach. ET phone home.}

The Everyday Square Stickers collection of epoxy flair stickers from Avital at Creativity Prompt jumpstarted this mini book. Using the stickers as a starting point for my cover title, I added the cutest little chevron stamp {My Mind's Eye ST-1073} that coordinates so well and draws your eye toward the sticker. I originally just had the left arrow stamped and when I saw that I had a bit of room left, stamped to the right as well.

I made my accordion album using Paula's tutorial when I shared this mini book at write.click.scrapbook. last week. Mine is sized to 5.50" x 5.50"using an 11" x 17" piece of cardstock.

STAMPS AS JOURNALING TOOLS

Using a variety of stamp sentiments I have in my stash, I stamped them and integrated them into my journaling on my album dedication page, drawing my ink colors from the Lime Twist collection from MME. I find it to be a perfect complement to the Avital's epoxy stickers.

Again, a starting point for my journaling.

One of my favorite photos from this Summer, you might remember it from this layout, and I hope Zach likes it, too. He loved swimming at Nana's and Papa's and his Sisters have inherited his love of the water!

STAMPS AS EMBELLISHMENTS

Stamping on the patterned paper, I trimmed an arrow shape and fussy cut around the Thinking of You sentiment...you know how much I love a bracket shape!

Because I tend to forget dates, I think I'll be using this stamp quite a bit.

REMEMBER

Here's where you can find the Everyday Stickers set so that you can make someone special in your life a mini album, too. I have two stickers remaining in my set and I think I'll use those on some layouts for the girls while they're out on my messy desk right now.

  1. Again I really like how light and airy this mini us. The blues and tangerines compliment so well. The stampsband journaling is always a great combination. You may have inspired for me to try this now.
    Very lovely, Monika.
