52Photos :: an update

Lisa and I are overjoyed by how many of you are leaving comments and planning to join the 52Photo project! We already have several members on Flickr too! Click the link so you can see who's going to be linking up photos and maybe find a new friend, too.

I had the opportunity to visit a few blogs and saw that there are even some of our buttons out there...thanks. We are linking the buttons we've installed on our own blogs back to the Flickr group so... here's a button along with the code that you can install if you'd like for your button to click back to the Flickr group, too.

To answer a question asked in the comments:

Usually we will post new 52Photo challenges each Thursday, today's post is just a BONUS for us all and a chance to get to know each other. The next challenge will be up on Thursday, January 6th.

Oh, and I wanted to share with you this album. I saw it here on a reader's blog and thought that it would be fun to size my photos down and keep them all in one place. There are 70 spots for photos which will give me a few spaces to journal or add pretty paper. I chose the green, since it fit with our blog button color, but I am seriously eying that turquoise, too! I would usually design and craft a mini, you know that, but when I saw this album I wanted it, even though I don't have the camera it's designed to be used with!

  1. I remembered!!! Thank you for think of this -- I think this will be a fun project! Here is my first page and book:

  2. My first picture is up:

  3. Well, I already messed up on the first prompt and forgot to take my photo at 8:11 last night :(

  4. So excited to join in on the fun! I joined the flickr group, added the button to my blog & posted my first photo which was JUST taken but it was what we were doing at 8:11 on 1/1!

  5. I'm late in joining... but I have joined.

    Looking forward to seeing what everyone does with their photos.

  6. Thanks for the link to those gorgeous albums... I had to join Etsy so I could buy a couple... I went for the Turquoise and Lavendar... my favourite colours!
    I don't have the camera either but do have a Pogo Printer so will use that :)
