gratitude journal | how i'm using it

Were you a bit perplexed with the Gratitude Journal concept and what you were going to do with 52 blank pages? Maybe even intimidated? Did you think you wouldn't keep up with it?

I've already shared some pages from my Gratitude Journal and now I'll show you how I'm using the same Journal I offered in the shop and making it unique to me, even though MANY, MANY other people have this very same Journal. I'll admit, I've skipped some days, but I am moving forward. Just because I didn't record a thankful thought on that particular day does not mean I wasn't, or am not, grateful. I'm not going to let a day or two or three deter me. I am grateful for each new day, for the comforts and sillies and smiles of every single day.

You can find this Gratitude Journal in the shop and you can also...

Using the negatives of cardstock journaling stickers and some leftover number stickers, I embellished this week in February...

You caught me, I didn't record a whole week's thoughts here, I missed two days...

I only recorded one thought for the whole week, but I filled up the page with a stamp and let it be...

More colored pencils {I snag them from the girls, tee hee}...

If you're journaling your Gratitudes, whether it's with a Journal you purchased from me or one you made yourself, leave a comment with a link to any online photos...I'd love to stop by for a visit. If you think you might like to have Gratitude Journal for yourself, visit with me at I Love It All .

    1. Oh, I'm so glad you linked up. I stopped in to check out your Gratitude Journal and adore it...the size, the carnival tickets as monthly tabs and The Twinery twine, too, of course! Thanks so much for sharing, made me smile!

  2. What a cute idea! I'm sort of doing a gratitude journal. I took a cheapo Target dollar spot planner and I'm filling in a gratitude for each day. Love your idea of a journal - might have to move to that.

    1. I think the planner idea is a good one and thought about doing that as well. The girls, when we remember to take a moment, are using a composition book: http://www.iloveitallwithmonikawright.com/2012/01/gratitude-journal-for-wee-ones.html. And Paula, you SHOULD make one...with your incredible scrappy stash and talent it would be over-the-top awesome!

  5. This is so great, Monika! I love all the bright colors and and eclectic feeling! I also love the very idea of continuing a gratitude journal all throughout the year. Most people, including myself, only think about doing something like this during Thanksgiving. I might have to give this a go next year... or maybe I'll start to include a gratitude journaling card in my Project Life this year. Hmmmm...

    1. Thanks for sharing Jess, I happen to think it's lovely. AND you did it all yourself. I see that you are without power, hoping good things come your way soon.
