happy birthday

This precious gift turned 7 today!

We had our party yesterday with family and then went to dinner with the kids at Bonefish Grill. Love that Bang Bang Shrimp!

The rest of the Toy Story toys are on the table with the cake. I made the banner about 5 years ago {before banners were all the rage} copying one I saw in the Pottery Barn kids catalog, but was too cheap frugal to buy, knowing that I could DIY it with fabric remnants leftover from the girls' rooms! I plan to use it for every birthday until they're too embarrassed for me to use it!

Really, how could it be 5 years since that photo was taken?

I made the invitations in the program Pages for Mac, used my ribbon stash and a punch from Stampin' Up to run the ribbon through and voila!...custom designed invites on a stay-at-home Mommy's budget! I listed "7 things about her" right on the invitation as I plan to use it on a layout. Pretty smart, huh, invite and page embellishment in one!
