52Photos :: yellow

my 52Photos capture :: yellow

I seem to take many photos within a theme, which is not so unique I know, many of us do that. Here, I'll share a few with you now:

3, for the number of children we have.
5, for our family size.
2, for he & she.

I have more, of course, but I'll stop there. My {our} three kids. When I took this photo, all my kidlets were still living at home. And, I just might have had hope for a 4th kidlet, but that didn't happen and I can't think about it now or I might just get a little sad.

These Black-Eyed Susan's grow along the side of our driveway and are of the wild variety and have been here for many, many years. Probably even before Mamaw and Papaw Wright made their home here in the house we now call ours. That's comforting to me.

The girls and I love to take our nature walks along the driveway and see what new flowers and/or weeds are growing. It shows us the progression of the seasons, making us sad to see some flowers go and excited to see new ones take their place. We do love our flowers around here. And our walks. So we stroll along, camera in hand, on our little adventures.

note | we live in the mountains along a loooong driveway, so our walks are just that and we get to see wild turkey's, horses, cranes, pond fish, wild blackberries, honeysuckle, spiderwort, Queen Anne's Lace, and...and...and. so it really is an exciting world just outside our door. pinch me and call me lucky.
