two peas in a pod

The new inspiration Gallery is live this morning over at write.click.scrapbook. Read the story here and see the Gallery here.

After you've had a chance to see all the other amazing mini-albums the team shared, stop by here again and leave a comment sharing with me whether you have ever made a mini-album for your husband, or wife, or significant other.  If you'd like an extra entry, tell me which mini-album in the write.click.scrapbook. Gallery has inspired you the most. {And, please, please, please don't think that you should pick mine.}

Up for grabs is a DIY kit with supplies and embellishments to make a mini just like mine...and you should receive it in plenty of time to create it, wrap it and gift it for Valentine's Day!

I'll pick a winner at 8pm tonight.

  2. I love Cheryl Overtons Big White mini! So creative and different! I have made a mini for my fiance...it was a state county mini where he can take pics of all the different license plates and it has the names on each page. He loves license plates!

  8. I love all kinds of mini albums, and love making them.....I had several favorites over at write.click.scrapbook! I loved Big White, by Cheryl Loverton, on the reel, how cool is that? and then I really liked the Virtual Guest Book by Marie Taylor, how fun is that, what a great way to preserve all those FB and blog comments!!! flip through a few more, and then saw Birthday Girl by Lisa Ottosson, loved the borderless photos and then the little small journaling and words pages....and finally, the Colors Album by Karen Grungerg! How fun, sometimes it is fun to create something that is just fun to look at later!!!

  11. There's no significant other, spouse, etc. in my life right now and I wasn't making minis when there was; so, the simple answer is no, I've not made that mini. I have made some for family members though.

  12. I loved Cheryl Overton's "Big White" - very cool that she made it out of an empty ribbon spool! I've always admired her style. In addition, I liked "Charlie" by Moon Ko, "Ballet is...." by Marnie Flores, "Transformation" by Kim Morgan and "Virtual Guestbook" by Marie Taylor. All great books full of inspiration! Oh, and by the way, "Bloom" was one of my favorites as well!

  14. I just love looking and getting inspired by others' creations! LOVE IT! I was inspired by two albums in the gallery--Angie Lucas (K Baby Album) and Charlie's 12 month album. I loved the colors on the first one....and I really liked the tin idea for the second one one. I am looking around to see what I can use for my mini now!

    Thanks again:) sbmmhoover at yahoo dot com

  15. The gallery has some fun projects, each with something inspiring to offer. There are three projects that stood out to me. The first is Marie's virtual guestbook, a great way to capture such a pervasive part of our society. I love the crispness of the project, too. The second is Moon's baby album in a tin. This is a great and easy way to capture highlights along with a monthly photo. The third project is Lisa's birthday party minibook. It's not my favorite design, but it is a topic that I'd love to capture. I have such special memories of my daughter's parties and would enjoy gathering photos and a little journaling in one special place.

  21. I have made quite a few mini albums - the last one was inspired by your Summer in the life. My favorite gallery album is Wendy Smedley's "A collection of photos from Jake's camera" It reminds me of the phoos my kids take with my camera. Thanks for the chance.
