I'm not tying myself down to one project or idea or medium. I have a ton of projects that need completion or attention of some sort that always gets pushed to the back burner because I create all day long as part of my job as a small business owner. Sure, I love what I do, but I sorely miss being creative at the spur of a moment just for me and my little family.
The project kicks off today and you can keep up with my projects, and progress, on Instagram @iloveitallshop where I'll also be using the #100craftydays_iloveitallshop so I can keep myself accountable and maybe even make it all the way to 100!
THE 100 DAY PROJECT
1 | 100
I printed out this photo some time ago and never did anything with it. It's from our vacation to Sanibel Island last year. I love taking photos from behind, when no one knows they're in my viewfinder.
My journaling is a sort of life lesson and love letter to my husband. I don't know that my father would have roamed the beach, up and down and up again, with me looking for cool shells and sea glass. But Gordon does and that makes me love him all the more.
I had planned to use this little journal for a Day in the Life project, but I never seem to able to make it through a day remembering to take photos, so I decided that I would just use my Today journal to tell some of our everyday Today stories, not necessarily from the same day.
Because my mini book {I'm using this one, there's only one left!} has a 4x6 orientation and my photo is 6x4, I had to be creative and find a way to make it work. Luckily, I was able to split the photo in two pieces without losing the effect of the photo.

I love this idea! I've got three pages left in my Where I Stand book I started a few years ago inspired by you.
ReplyDeleteThat's the perfect project to finish up, cough cough, I need to do the same! It's just getting all the photos rounded up and printed. It will be fun to revisit those places we stood years ago and feel all the memories again.
