Yesterday I was all set to grab a notecard to write a thank you note to my Mom for my birthday gift and scrumptious birthday cake. But then, I thought, why send a store bought card when I could spend a few minutes and make a handmade card.
So I did.

I only intended to make one card, but after making one, I had some scraps left...
...and I made this card with those scraps. Using the little bit of the glittered yellow floral cardstock and the kraft paper strip, I popped it on the card and then I used a die cut tag and some bakers twine from The Twinery to finish off my second clean and simple card.
