71 more days

There are 71 days until Christmas.

Yes, I just said that.

I'm working on getting together a December Daily album to list in the shop. Actually, my goal is to list more than one option to document your holiday stories from mini albums to paper and embellishment packs to add to your own stash of pretty paper. If you have any ideas about what you're looking for, leave me a comment or e-mail me {click on yellow envelope in the sidebar} and I'll try to incorporate that into the design or work on creating a custom mini book for you and your family.

While we're on that subject, what would be your ideal December Daily mini album size? Or sizes?

And now for your viewing pleasure:

Combination Smash Book album slash Holiday Greeting Card, this type of project is one of my favorites. I have so much fun picking the papers, the goodies to include and the bits and baubles for the embellishment pack.

And a companion composition book with 100 empty pages to fill with memories, plans, activities, menu plans, funny things the kids say, holiday recipes and more, more, more. There's a shipping tag ties with baker's twine from The Twinery, a hand stamped and hand punched Holly Jolly tag which you could add to the white shipping tag on the front cover {or not}, 3 punched tabs for you to add your own personalized sections and a white label tag.

I call this pattern Dancing Santa. I'm so silly.

And another composition notebook with more fun paper. And more fun goodies in the embellishment pack with another shipping tag on the front to personalize and embellish the way that suits you.

  1. I say every year that I will do December Daily and I NEVER do it. I will consider it again this year as I think my older son (8.5) will be old enough to help!

    1. The girls are really into the whole DD, advent calendar, let's have an activity every night routine of December. Wears me out, but it's so worth it. And, who says that it has to be a DD, it can be a December whenever I get a chance to do a day...at least you'll have a project together and start a new tradition. He'll love it!

  2. This will be my 3rd year doing a December/Holiday mini. For the past 2 years, I've gone with a 6x6 format and used elements and papers from my stash. (I still have tons of Christmas stuff in there-yikes!)
I'm thinking I might go with a 4x6 format this year and just use instagram pics-since I'm a heavy iPhone user. We'll see how I feel come November.
And I love the dancing Santas...

    1. Great idea...I thinkI'll put together a 6x6 size in the shop and highlight the Instagram option. When I print my Instagram photos on my 4x6 paper, I always resize to 3.75 x 3.75 so that the whole image prints. Every printer is different, I know. I had already planned to do a 4x6 version, because it's just so popular and easy to trim and package up. One of my favorite sizes.

Thanks for commenting and the feedback, I really appreciate your time!

    2. Have you tried PostalPix for your Instagram photos? It's an app for iPhone-I use them to print all of my IG photos-no trimming. They are really good quality and ship pretty fast. Every so often they have a 20% off code and I take advantage and print a ton. :)
And your summer mini is the one that got me hooked on 4x6-I blame you for my new addiction to minis... ;)

  3. I would love to have a 6x4 DIY pack as it can be used as part of PL as well. Last year I used a kit for my DD (incorporated into PL) and we just filled out 6x4 / 3x4 cards, added a pic and into the album. What makes it great is that the children do some of the cards - precious. You will have to get going - shipping to sunny SA takes 4 weeks!!! Oh, and please include the dancing santas!
