the twinery | the ribbon carousel challenge blog hop

Welcome to my crafty space!

...and welcome to all of you participating in The Twinery | The Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog Hop.

You should arrived here from Stephanie's blog, but if you're a regular reader of I Love It All and want to have a chance at the prizes, be sure to start at The Twinery Blog and leave a comment on each blog as you hop along.

So, I thought the display shelf above one of my work tables {really, it's a tool box} would be a great place to display a banner adorned with items that are whimsical, have words to spark my creativity and make me smile and all created with baker's twine from The Twinery and ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel!

Using 4 color ways of the same ribbon, I folded it over and onto the strands of baker's twine from The Twinery. The banner was created with double length strands of Maraschino, Caribbean, Buttercream and Peapod. Using more Marschino twine to gather up the ribbon, I then added a metal rimmed tag with the letter "w" for our last name.

After wrapping my small styrofoam ball with Caribbean baker's twine, I used a wooden skewer to make holes through the ball, strung some Lemondrop baker's twine through and adorned the "ornament" even more with some orange and white chevron ribbon for a whimsical feel.

I hope you'll have some fun and try adding more and more baker's twine from The Twinery to your next crafting projects. Guess what? Two prizes will be awarded on this hop - yippee!
