i

I am taking the iScrap class with Stacy Julian at Big Picture Classes and there's still time for you to sign up and join in!

I saw these journaling card downloads at Creativity Prompt yesterday and loved them. Here's the link.
I printed, trimmed and inserted into my 9-insert trading card binder pages.
I printed my photo, embellished two more card inserts with rub-ons and used my sewing machine to gussy them up.
I did this all in about 30 minutes.

I printed my journaling cards on to a pink textured cardstock, which gave me a muted red. printing yours on a white smooth cardstock would probably give you the bright red you see in the sample at Creativity Prompt.
I used the uniball Signo {UM-153} provided by JetPens for review.
I love how the pen gave my words the bold look i felt this layout needed. the ink flow was plentiful, smooth and offers a nice, dark, deep black.

I am so dang excited to share this new layout with you because i embraced imperfection {a la Karen Grunberg}. see the photo below and the hiccup i made with my sewing machine {actually my Mom's old Singer} and how i scrambled to find something to fix it?
I think the pink 'sassy' tag is really out of wack with the feeling of the page, but no one will really care or even notice. i guess if i were to squint, it might match the pink stripes in my shirt.

I am thrilled to have 6 in-the-moment journaling cards.
I literally sat down yesterday afternoon and wrote and did not have any do overs or deep thought about any of it. just wrote what i was thinking of and what was in my heart at that moment. right then.

{do you remember this post or this post, both using free downloads from Creativity Prompt?}

I am going to go have another cup of coffee with my sweetie, plan our day and have some fun.
I hope you will, too.
