Lunch Date = Quality Time = Happy Me

It was a really good day.
What started out as breakfast together after dropping off the truck for maintenance turned into taking the truck to Knoxville to a different shop which led to a lunch date and a quick trip to Costco...all on a beautiful, sunshine-y day with 70* temps and a slight breeze.
Yeah, pretty much perfect.

THIS WEEK IN MY GRATITUDE JOURNAL

Last week, I went through my Field Notes Gratitude Journal and embellished some pages. Okay, in reality it's more like 95% of the pages but once I start, I can't stop. I took the opportunity to pull out my seldom used stamps and stamped away. Obviously my stamping skills are less than stellar, but I still had fun. And that's all that matters. 

And if that wasn't enough, this has been an absolutely wonderful couple of days for Victoria. First, she scores 9 points in her basketball game and then she gets straight A's on her report card!

She's been trying to earn straight A's on her report card since school began. Oh my gosh, I wish you could have seen the joy on her face when she showed us her report card. Priceless.

I used this Gratitude Journal, the stamped page is included in your journal, I just colored in the double line wth my blue marker, but you don't have to.

 Wondering what to do with that little embellishment kit you get with your Gratitude Journal? I paper clipped mine to the inside back cover. That way, when I need it, it will be waiting for me to play with.
