an address book for isabella

You all know that I like creating mini books using my Bind-it-all, right?  So much so, that I often try to find reasons to pull out my crafting supplies. Happy Fall, Ya'll, I'm here today sharing my reasoning behind the precious little mini you see below.

My little girl is growing up and has been getting some telephone calls from friends this school year, so I thought that she would enjoy having her very own address book to keep her names and numbers all in one place, rather than just the bits and pieces of paper cluttering her nightstand. Which Mommy does NOT like. At all.

I began with a heavy white cardstock and my trusty glue stick. After choosing a few patterns that fit Isabella's style from the Butterfly Garden Pyramid Pad, I embellished each side of the cardstock with Momenta patterned papers, trimmed, rounded corners and set aside to dry further. Heading to my ribbon stash, I chose a white organza ribbon and threaded my punched shape through it, tying a bow on the front.

To personalize the album for Isabella, I used Momenta's awesome DYO Sticker sheet "Jack" set. You can see that I layered two colors of stickers {there were three colors in the pre-designed pattern I chose} to give it more of a designer feel. If you haven't tried these stickers, wow, are you missing something special! Choose your own colors, or choose ready-made color combos...you can even choose a photo and make a sticker sheet out of it! Told ya, those Do Your Own stickers are pretty nifty!

I added her initials to the punched shape above, and below, you can see that I made my own shipping tag with yet another designer paper choice from the Pyramid Pad.

Isabella is going to love seeing her name and that sweet little floating butterfly. There you have it, an address book fit for my little Princess.

If you'd like to make your own address book, feel free download the free template | address page printable download available in the sidebar and there's also a mini tutorial showing you cut lines and tips.

I'm over at Momenta sharing this project today, if you'd like to stop by and leave a comment or to browse other projects for inspiration. And for another mini book project using Momenta product, visit with me at Write.Click.Scrapbook. all this week where I'm hosting and having a little fun!
