We have a 6th grader, heading to the Middle School, and a 3rd grader, by herself at the elementary school for the first time without big sis.
Little sis has already said several times over the summer that she's not going to like not seeing Isabella in the halls during the day. Big sis is equal parts excited about her new adventure and apprehensive about what it's all about. Both parents are melancholy to think their babies are already this old.
It's quiet here, so I think I'll go work now so that I don't notice the stillness.
The girls are adorable! Time sure goes by quickly doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, your girls look so grown up! Can't believe they are back to school already. The boys go back in two weeks. That transition to the"big school" seemed so hard at the time when the twins did it, but now they are so at ease. She will be a pro at it before you know it. Praying the girls have a fabulous first week!
