You guessed it, no photos of Mommy with her kiddos on Mother's Day. But here's a photo Gordon took of the Strawberry Shortcake we made together on Mother's Day Eve.
And you may have seen this photo I posted on Facebook and Instagram. Lucky me, Zach phoned on Mother's Day evening and the girls and I spoke to him for quite a while. There may even be a July trip home in the works. We'll see, though.
I dropped a hint or two or three to Gordon that I'd like the girls to gift me with one of these mini books which would also make great a great Birthday gift for Mom as well. Here are some highlights for you.
You might have already guessed this, but as I was reading the reasons out loud to everyone on Mother's Day, #10 got the biggest chuckle. That's our Spunky.
There are 10 Things mini books for Dad, Mom, and You as well as an option to customize to any name {Oma, Nana, Papa, Papaw, Grandma} as well.
Oh, I LOVE number 10. A good hairdo is such an important part of being a mother :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, you have the sweetest girls! I bet they are so sweet because they have a wonderful mommy.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great Mother's Day! There are never any pics of me either, because I'm always taking the photos:)
ReplyDeleteYour girls are so sweet, and the flowers are gorgeous!
You do have a good hairdo LOL
Thanks, gals!
ReplyDeleteAnd please know that my Zachi is a good boy, too, even if he takes months and months between phone calls. I'm blessed to have all three, but that's another story. And apparently, good hair-do's do make a difference. At least that's what I tell myself when I pay the stylist to cover the gray and give me the best haircut ever!
This is the cutest gift ever!!! I love what they wrote, each entry is so precious (and oh so true ;)
