gift containers

What does it say about you when your husband and kids walk up and ask, "Do you want this?" as they are holding an empty container that once was the home to nuts or oatmeal or mints? Maybe that I'm a little crazy about playing with paper and coming up with new ways to reuse what we have?

Whatever the case, here's the newest item I've created with my collection of repurposed containers. I used the Crop-o-Dile to punch holes in the container lid to thread through my twine and then knotted it off, creating a handle. No need for a gift bag! Cute idea for any present that will fit inside, but especially useful for gifting food items without having to buy tins!
In case you missed these before, here are a few more ideas using recycled containers:

  5. You have them trained very well Monika! I save these items with intentions of transforming them and usually wind up tossing them. I'm so inspired by you to deal with my stash of boxes and containers :)
